For our client, an innovative company in its sector, we are searching for a (Senior) Backend Engineer – Elixir (f/m/d) as soon as possible
Your Job:
- Development of the AWS-hosted Elixir-based backend applications
- Providing API services to the client-side apps
- Consuming data from various APIs of the clients portal
- Living and breathing DevOps culture. You build it, you run it, so monitoring is key
- Closely collaborate with our client supporting Infrastructure team
- Working with AWS cloud-native application and k8s
- Help forging the inhouse engineering team for this project and insource knowledge from the agencies
Your Profile:
- You are just a very good software developer (different programming paradigms, self-organizing, etc.)
- You know how to design, build, deploy and run distributed systems in the cloud
- You successfully apply software engineering best practices (SOLID, TDD, KISS, …) and you love to talk and reason about them
- You are a team player; you share your knowledge, you like to teach and mentor others
- You are an Agile development practitioner. You know why, when and how to apply it
- You can’t live without tests and CI/CD pipelines, you know when and how to apply TDD
