What You Will Be Doing

As a Deployment Manager in our DACH team, you will lead the successful rollout of commercial electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will be the key point of contact for customers, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong project management skills, a technical background in electrotechnics, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You will manage the full deployment lifecycle while maintaining excellent customer and partner relationships.

This position handles and is expected to protect all internal confidential information and may need to utilize discretion and judgement based on company policies and procedures.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

Project Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of installation and service projects.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  • Handle escalations and resolve issues promptly to minimize project delays.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams (e.g., Sales, Support), and external partners (e.g., installation contractors).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with installation partners and customer representatives.
  • Occasionally conduct site visits to resolve critical issues and ensure customer health and satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and update internal ticketing systems.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, installation, or construction environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a team-oriented, cross-functional, collaborative environment.
  • Customer- and partner-focused mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common office tools and systems.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel nationally
  • Fluent in both German (native level) and English.

Preferred

  • Basic IT/Network experience
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM/project tracking tools.
  • Experience working in a remote team environment.
