Overview
In this role you drive revenue growth within a designated region by promoting Charles River’s research models and services. You will collaborate with specialist sales and management to expand market share and implement account plans. You’ll engage customers through visits and digital outreach, articulate the value of our offerings, and forecast territory performance. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned region across all products and services
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to grow in-house and outsourced revenue
- Prepare accurate account forecasts and track progress against goals
- Qualify leads and build relationships through customer visits and digital contact
- Provide value propositions for drug development products/services and communicate new offerings
- Collaborate with specialist sales and management for cohesive sales processes
- Implement territory management plans in Salesforce (SFDC) and analyze opportunities
- Document all planning, communications, and opportunity management in SFDC within timelines
- Gather market data on trends, competition, and pricing
- Participate in sales meetings and industry trade shows
- Escalate customer issues to appropriate departments for resolution
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Life Sciences or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in life sciences preferred
- Direct experience with Laboratory Rodent Animal Models mandatory
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with standard office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, e-mail)
