Regional Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Regional Retail Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of our retail pharmacy locations in Munster and Connaught. The ideal candidate will lead store managers, ensure regulatory compliance, drive sales performance, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight - Manage the daily operations of multiple retail pharmacy locations within the region. Ensure each pharmacy complies with company policies, legal regulations (state/federal), and industry standards. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning across the region.
• Performance Management - Monitor KPIs such as prescription volume, OTC sales, customer service metrics, and profitability. Analyze data and financial reports to identify areas for improvement and growth. Implement action plans to address underperformance.
• Leadership & Team Development - Lead, coach, and develop pharmacy managers and their teams via weekly calls. Facilitate ongoing training, professional development, and succession planning. Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
• Customer Experience & Compliance - Drive excellence in customer service and patient care. Ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols, including HIPAA and Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Resolve escalated customer or operational issues via Customer Service.
• Strategic Execution - Support the rollout of corporate initiatives and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, compliance, finance, and supply chain. Identify opportunities for expansion, service enhancements, or process improvements.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Retail Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager or multi-site retail leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations simultaneously, ideally within pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG or high-volume retail environments.
• Strong track record of driving commercial performance, improving operational standards, and leading high-performing teams.
• Experience managing and developing Store Managers and leadership teams across multiple locations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage performance, address operational challenges, and implement improvement plans where required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growing business with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of workforce planning, scheduling, labour management, and retail KPIs.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with departments such as HR, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Full clean driving licence with flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across Munster and Connaught, with travel to the Support Office and other locations as required.
