Overview
In this role you drive planning and optimization across the plant and regional supply chain, balancing stock, costs, and service. You will collaborate with transport and logistics teams to move inventory efficiently and align financial and compliance goals with the strategic plan. You’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs, with visibility to leadership on performance metrics. This opportunity combines hands-on execution with cross-functional influence in a global, sustainability-minded organization.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Implement plant-level safety stock policies to balance inventory and maximize capacity
- Optimize inbound, outbound, and relocation logistics for cost-to-serve efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams to maintain inventory mix from origin to destination
- Align financial and compliance goals with the supply chain strategy
- Partner with logistics to ensure cost-effective fulfilment meeting service goals
- Manage pool balancing by relocating surplus to deficit markets
- Monitor and report KPIs to supply chain leadership weekly, monthly, quarterly
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve operational excellence
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent
- 3–5 years in planning management, operations, facility engineering, supply chain, or logistics
- 1–2 years in Project Management
- Fluent English and German (Spanish or another European language is a plus)
- Experience with industry tools: BlueYonder/Manugistics/i2/Red Prairie/Manhattan Associates
- Familiarity with BlueYonder, SAP, BW; computer basics (Office, Excel, Access)
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Lean/Six Sigma experience
- Experience with SAP, SQL
- Ability to engage with management cross-functionally and drive solutions at all levels
