Software Engineer (m/f/d) – System-Level Software Your expertise for secure systems in a highly critical environment
YOUR MISSION
You will develop secure and high-performance system and cloud software to connect healthcare applications in a dynamic environment. In doing so, you will play an active role in the further development of the telematics infrastructure, combining the highest standards of software quality, flexibility, data protection and cybersecurity. By rapidly building up expertise in innovative technologies and cryptography, you will independently implement high-quality open-source-based solutions and consistently ensure their quality through test automation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibility will be the design, implementation and further development of system-level software in Rust and C on Linux-based systems
Close collaboration within the team involves the structured deployment of software via GitLab, including traceable commits and active participation in code reviews
You will create and maintain documentation on requirements, design and acceptance, using tools such as Confluence or Jira
You will plan and carry out tests throughout the entire product lifecycle – from initial bring-up through to certification and system tests
In addition, you will drive the development of test software and the continuous improvement of test automation to ensure quality, stability and maintainability in the long term
YOUR EXPERIENCES
You have a relevant engineering degree and solid experience in developing low-level software, as well as in-depth knowledge of programming in Rust and/or C, C++ and Python
Your technical expertise includes interacting with the Linux kernel, cryptographic methods, and container and network technologies
You are experienced in using common development and collaboration tools such as GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Jira and Confluence
Good communication skills in English and German complete your profile
