For our R&D Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for a Engineer in area of HMI .

We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally – jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Chery vehicles in Europe are easy to use and intuitive.
• Ensure Chery vehicles in Europe have all necessary and relevant features regarding HMI for a successful Europe market entry.
• Define Unique Selling Points in the area of User interface to support the defined market position of Chery vehicles in Europe.
• Run detailed benchmark of HMI of competing models/brands in Europe.
• Support HMI team in E/E with a user-centric approach.
• Monitor latest upcoming development trends and technological requirements in the field of HMI.
• Close collaboration with development teams in our R&D centers in Wuhu & Shanghai (China) and the Europe market related subsidiaries (Marketing, Sales, Quality) from the technical and commercial perspective.

Requirements:

• You have a Degree in Electronic Engineering or comparable.
• You have significant (>3 years) experience in a similar position for HMI at a Tier 1 or OEM.
• You are able to support functional teams to achieve an intuitive user experience.
• You have a detailed understanding of Human perception.
• You are willing to travel and have a valid European driving license.
• You are willing to work in an international and intercultural environment.
• You have a pro-active and self-motivated attitude.
• You are a good communicator with an open and structured mindset.
• You have good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.).
• You are fluent in English; Mandarin skills advantageous.
