Economics Head of Economic Advisory Germany

A global consultancy firm is looking to appoint a Head of Economic Advisory to lead its well-established European-wide economics consultancy brand in Germany. The firm has a strong reputation and public profile, and this is an excellent opportunity to lead and grow a talented team of economists and to manage projects in both the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership over the direction of a newly created team in Germany with the support and vision of key stakeholders
• A Partner-track position, with unlimited scope to progress and grow a world-class economic consultancy team
• A seat at the senior leadership table and scope to influence the firm at a senior level

The wider team is comprised of over 100 economics and finance professionals, covering the Public, TMT, Transport, Water, and Energy sectors, and is part of the firm’s global consulting network. It is an extremely dynamic practice area with a unique blend of skills in econometrics, policy evaluation, macroeconomic modelling, regulatory economics, and competition analysis.

Required Skills for Head of Economic Advisory:

• c15+ within another economics consultancy firm or regulatory body
• A solid network of existing client relationships or a strong public presence to aid in growing the team
• Extensive hands-on and project/people management experience
