This position is well‑suited for a motivated and ambitious technical buyer and production planner who will support and further develop a brand which doesn’t imitate tradition but evolve it. A prior experience in the watch industry and some expertise in watch parts will be much appreciated.
POSITION SUMMARY The role is a central node in our supply chain to ensure all the administration and operations processes from the project definition of a watch to its assembly by our watch makers. The technical buyer & production planner will take ownership of sourcing and supply chain activities for our technical components, working closely with Engineering, Production and external suppliers to ensure continuity, quality and time delivery. Whereas analysis and planning talent a particularly important all over the projects, natural communication skills are essential for a successful collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a smooth ordering process from start to finish (monitoring stock levels, delivery dates, quality, and costs)
Update internal databases with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts)
Maintain and support our strong supplier network by conducting on‑site supplier visits throughout Switzerland
Manage the interfaces between suppliers, accounting, and production
Research potential suppliers and evaluate existing ones
Conduct market research to identify trends
Develop and ensure the complete production planning for the entire watch collection
Equip our watchmaking workshop with the necessary components
Prepare cost analyses
YOUR PROFILE
Professional experience as a technical buyer or in a similar role
Good understanding of the supply chain
Practical experience with ERP software
Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite
Strong organizational skills in logistics and planning
Excellent English skills; French and German skills are an advantage
Entrepreneurial mindset and Hands‑on mentality
Good communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor
