h3Job Type /h3 pFull-time /p h3Description /h3 pThe Regional Director of Facilities, Maintenance Engineering serves as Ciel Senior Living’s senior-most executive overseeing all physical plant operations, engineering systems, preventative maintenance, capital projects, asset protection, and environmental safety across the enterprise portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive facilities strategy that ensures regulatory compliance, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and an elevated resident experience. This executive provides strategic leadership to Regional Facilities Directors, community maintenance leaders, and external partners, ensuring consistent engineering standards, optimized building performance, and alignment with Ciel’s culture, values, and organizational priorities. /p h3CULTURAL EXPECTATIONS /h3 ul liDemonstrates Ciel’s values of integrity, service, accountability, and excellence. /li liModels professionalism, humility, and servant leadership. /li liMaintains a resident-first mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). /li li7–10+ years of progressive multi-site facilities leadership in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial real estate. /li liStrong technical proficiency with building systems, life-safety codes, CMMS systems, and capital planning. /li liDemonstrated experience leading large teams and complex facility operations. /li liExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. /li liTravel requirement: 90–100%. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES /li liStrategic Facilities Leadership /li liDevelop multi-year facilities and engineering strategy aligned with corporate goals. /li liEstablish standards for engineering performance, maintenance protocols, and capital planning. /li liServe as senior advisor to the COO and Ownership regarding facilities performance, risks, and portfolio needs. /li liOversee emergency preparedness infrastructure and ensure compliance with generator and environmental regulations. /li liOperational Oversight Performance Management /li liLead all facilities operations across the portfolio, ensuring building readiness, system integrity, and regulatory compliance. /li liImplement enterprise-wide CMMS standards (TELS or equivalent) for preventive maintenance, work orders, and asset lifecycle management. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability. /li liConduct quarterly portfolio inspections and oversee corrective action planning. /li liEngineering Systems Expertise /li liEnsure optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and environmental control systems. /li liOversee critical systems including HVAC, emergency power, fire/life safety, elevators, access control,and water management. /li liEstablish testing schedules, certification compliance, and system performance benchmarks. /li liCapital Planning Asset Protection /li liDevelop and oversee Ciel’s multi-year capital improvement plan. /li liLead scoping, bidding, contracting, and execution of CapEx projects /li liEnsure investments support long-term asset stability, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction. /li liMaintain transparent reporting and forecasting for Ownership and Executive Leadership. /li liVendor Contract Management /li liDevelop an enterprise vendor strategy, negotiate master service agreements, and manage contractor relationships. /li liEnsure procurement rigor, performance management, and alignment with Ciel quality standards. /li liOversee RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract execution. /li liRegulatory Compliance Life Safety /li liEnsure compliance with state licensing laws, building codes, life-safety codes, and AHJ directives. /li liLead fire marshal visits, survey preparation, and follow-up remediation. /li liMaintain regulatory documentation, inspection logs, and life-safety binders. /li liFinancial Leadership /li liDevelop and manage annual budgets for repairs maintenance, utilities, and capital expenditures. /li liAnalyze financial performance, manage expenses, and support value engineering initiatives. /li liReview monthly financials, identify variances, and implement corrective actions. /li liLeadership Development Culture /li liMentor and develop regional and community-level maintenance leaders. /li liBuild a culture of accountability, hospitality, safety, and technical expertise. /li liSupport recruitment, onboarding, and training of facilities staff. /li liLeadership Development Culture /li liMentor and develop regional and community-level maintenance leaders. /li liBuild a culture of accountability, hospitality, safety, and technical expertise. /li liSupport recruitment, onboarding, and training of facilities staff. /li /ul h3We offer /h3 h3Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits to include /h3 ul liMedical, Dental, Vision /li liBasic Life Insurance (we pay 100% of the premium) /li liVoluntary Life /li liShort-Term Disability /li liLong-Term Disability (we pay 100% of the premium) /li liSupplemental Insurance: Hospital, Accident and Critical Illness /li liFlexible Spending Account /li liEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) /li liPTO /li li7 Paid Holidays /li li401K with Employer matching and vesting schedule /li /ul h3Salary Description /h3 p$125,000 to $130,000 per year /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
