Your role
You will act as HR Manager for our Office, Warehouse, and Roastery Teams (70 people in total). The role entails:
- Own payroll and administration for the employees in your area, working closely with our external payroll provider.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding as well as offboarding experience and look for ways to improve it.
- Act as the HR expert, being the point of contact for employment law and administrative matters, being always up to date with regulatory changes.
- Improve, document, and share HR processes in a compelling and organized manner.
- Support managers in their decision-making process when it comes to ending probation periods and contracts, making sure that both milestones of the employee experience are processed correctly.
- Co-own together with our junior HR Manager office management tasks to ensure a positive office experience.
- Oversee the activities carried out in regard to workplace safety, keeping an overview of the measures that need to be taken.
- Mentor our Junior HR Manager when it comes to employment law and administrative knowledge and report to our Head of HR.
Your profile
- 2-3 years of experience in HR management with a focus on payroll and administration.
- Excellent knowledge of German employment law and HR compliance.
- Organizational and coordination skills: you are able to organize and prioritize your work according to business needs to respect deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, which allow you to deliver messages in a clear and concise manner whilst being empathetic and able to put yourself in other people’s shoes.
- Data-driven and facts-based approach: you drive improvements or make suggestions based on actual organizational needs.
- Experience in driving projects and improving processes.
- Experience in working with Personio and Notion is a big plus.
- Fluency in German close to a native level (min C2) and fluency in English (min C1) are a must.
