Financial Accountant

• Our Finance team keeps the numbers behind Circus’s growth accurate, timely, and audit-ready
• As Financial Accountant, you own the day-to-day accounting that everything else builds on — general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets — and play a direct role in closing our books and supporting group reporting. It’s a hands-on role with real ownership from day one, working closely with both the internal Finance team and external partners
• Manage day-to-day financial accounting: general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly closings
• Assist with half-year and year-end closing, including audit preparation
• Contribute to group consolidation and reporting processes
• Help optimize and automate finance processes
• Partner closely with internal departments and external providers

• Independent, team-oriented, and hands-on working style
• Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
• Completed commercial training with relevant professional experience in financial accounting
• Proficient user of DATEV
• Basic knowledge of HGB (German GAAP)
• Further qualification as “Finanzbuchhalter” or equivalent
• SAP and/or MS Dynamics experience
• Interest in developing further, potentially toward a Bilanzbuchhalter qualification
