Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious Regional Sales Manager, Mid‑Market to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who want to kick‑start or grow their sales career in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. You will focus on acquiring new Mid‑Market customers, working closely with Channel Partners to drive pipeline growth through joint marketing initiatives, events, and targeted outreach. You will be key in generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and contributing to overall revenue growth in the region.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue goals while collaborating with a cross‑functional team of Systems Engineers, Business Development, Channel, Field Marketing, and others.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding pain points, orchestrating the virtual team, and leading projects to successful closure.
- Apply efficient sales methodologies, celebrate wins, and drive smarter, not harder, work.
- Build and nurture relationships with Channel Partners and End Customers, providing personalized support for key projects and communicating the value of our products and services.
- Lead and execute sales campaigns and motions that build customer value and enable multi‑year, multi‑solution transactions.
- Accurately forecast opportunities based on realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecast.
- Support Channel Partners in crafting net new opportunities and expanding Splunk’s footprint within existing customer accounts.
Requirements
- Hunting mentality – experience selling into 70 % whitespace patches.
- Experience in the software industry, focused on Security and Cloud solutions.
- Strong network within the German Channel Partner community is helpful.
- Proficiency in using social media and professional networks to understand customers.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, rapidly changing environment.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
- Proven knowledge of MEDDICC methodology to stay in control of key business.
- Native German and fluent in English (both written and spoken).
