In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through a mix of proactive outreach, lead generation, and cross-selling to existing clients. By identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions, you will drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth in the DACH region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
- Drive new business acquisition through cold outreach, inbound leads, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Record all client interactions and activity in Salesforce, ensuring proper follow-up with clients and informing the sales team of key updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide a seamless client experience from prospecting to onboarding.
- Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, including PRN CS & Operations and visibility reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in the DACH region.
- Continuously identify opportunities to expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales or business development.
- Ability to multitask effectively within a team environment (Cision Germany Sales Team and PRN CS & Operations UK).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Passion for the PR and media industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally, experience with a CRM system like Salesforce.
- Fluent communication in both spoken and written German and English.
- Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the media/PR industry is advantageous.
