Postdoc Position in Human-Centered Privacy and HCI (m/f/d) – Group Windl
We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc candidateto join our group at the intersection of privacy and human-computerinteraction. In our research, we ask how intelligent and increasinglysensor-rich environments can respect human values and evolve responsiblyalongside their users. For instance, we study how people perceive and mitigateprivacy risks in emerging technologies, how AI can support privacy decisionswithout taking control away from users, and how tangible interfaces can makeprivacy more visible and manageable.
Our group is taking a human-centered approach toprivacy. Thus, our research combines empirical research with designing andbuilding interactive systems. This can involve interviews, surveys, laboratoryor field studies, as well as prototyping with sensors, embedded hardware, IoTdevices, augmented reality, robots, or other emerging technologies.
