Purpose

We are committed to building and improving our Environmental Social Governance (ESG) data, reports, and programs to reduce our impacts and be fully prepared for the future. As an ESG Data Coordinator, you will play an important role within our ESG Team, contributing to the collection, analysis, and coordination of key ESG data. You will work closely with the ESG Analyst and report to the ESG Director and collaborate with teams across citizenM to achieve our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, monitor, map and organize ESG data from various internal and external sources (utilities, waste, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting ESG data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Create data templates and fulfill internal and external ESG data requests.
  • Support the preparation and reporting of ESG data to various external reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. GRESB, ISSB, GRI, CDP, CRREM, EU taxonomy, SFDR).
  • Collaborate with the ESG analyst on maintaining and expanding the scope of citizenM's greenhouse gas emissions inventory.
  • Support the team in gathering information for third-party ESG data assurance.
  • Structure and maintain ESG data documentation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct market research and data collection on ESG trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to support informed decision-making.
  • Support social programs such as volunteering and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with a background in data analytics, sustainable finance, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Applicable work experience, preferably in the real estate industry, finance or sustainability-related field.
  • Proven detail-oriented analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in data management, data visualization, and analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI, to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. CSRD, GRESB, GRI, TCFD, CDP).
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for sharing data and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for sustainability and the drive to contribute to positive environmental and social impact.
