Overview

In this senior role, you lead end-to-end quality across Energy Systems, spanning batteries, BMS, electronics, and low-voltage systems. You drive quality governance, industrialization, and customer satisfaction across multiple sites and suppliers. You’ll ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ASPICE, VDA 6.3, and ISO 26262, while fostering a prevention-first culture. The position blends strategic BU-level oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-evolving automotive environment. You will shape quality across development, manufacturing, and customer interfaces to enable safe, reliable, and high-performance energy solutions.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Define and implement BU Quality vision and governance
  • Maintain IATF 16949-compliant QMS across plants
  • Lead APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, MSA usage and audits
  • Develop and sustain ASPICE capability for system/software/hardware
  • Own plant-level quality KPIs (PPM, FPY, scrap, rework, COPQ)
  • Lead launch quality, audits, and problem-solving (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
  • Act as primary OEM/Tier-1 quality interface and manage customer audits
  • Ensure compliance with product safety/regulatory standards (UN 38.3, IEC 62660, ECE R100, EU Battery Regulation)
  • Define supplier quality requirements and APQP/PPAP deployment
  • Build and develop a high-performing quality organization across plants and regions

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • 10+ years in automotive quality with manufacturing and product leadership
  • Proven expertise in IATF 16949, ASPICE, VDA 6.3 and core quality tools
  • Deep knowledge of low voltage systems, electronics, BMS, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing OEM customer interfaces and multi-site quality teams
  • Strategic and operational leadership credibility
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills
  • Structured, data-driven problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to balance hands-on work with scalable system development
  • Comfort with complex, matrix, fast-evolving environments
