Overview
In this role you will lead pursuit engineering for automotive energy storage solutions, collaborating with customers to tailor electronic systems for low-voltage Li-ion, Sodium Ion, and supercapacitor technologies. You’ll align designs with core platform baselines, manage multiple projects, and guide customers from early engagement to project award. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure cost-effective, compliant energy storage solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.

- Lead pursuit engineering for automotive energy storage hardware (Li-ion, Sodium Ion, supercapacitors)
- Collaborate with automotive customers to capture requirements and design electronic solutions
- Design and develop electronic systems and components for energy storage
- Align electronic design with core platform baselines via Core Electronics Team
- Manage multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide technical support from initial engagement through project award
- Support cross-functional teams to meet customer specs with cost-focused designs
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams for seamless integration
- Perform electronic analysis, modeling, and simulation to meet automotive standards
- Stay current with energy storage tech trends and industry developments
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Proven automotive electronics engineering experience, especially embedded PCBA design and development
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage Li-ion, Sodium Ion, and supercapacitors
- Experience with automotive Functional Safety (ISO26262)
- Excellent multi-project management and stakeholder communication
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design and simulation tools
- Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- English fluency; German highly desirable
