Overview
As a Quality Engineer APQP you will lead Advanced Product Quality Planning for new and change projects across EMEA, aligning with APQP/Power D3 standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy quality deliverables, manage risk, and ensure customer requirements are met. You’ll support a broad battery portfolio, from Lead-Acid to Li-Ion systems, shaping product and process quality across the region. This role offers visibility across development and launch activities in a sustainability-focused company.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead APQP activities from RFQ to product launch across EMEA
- Coordinate quality work packages and deliverables with Product/Manufacturing/Operations teams
- Monitor quality health during development and drive risk mitigation
- Create and release APQP documentation and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Develop control plans incorporating D/PFMEA and characteristic matrices
- Support PPAP readiness for new product launches
- Coordinate APQP documentation with Simultaneous Development Team and plants
- Manage risk in QC processes and maintain master data in PLATO E1NS
- Support DV/PV sample builds and validate dimensional/functional requirements
- Assist with ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE compliance for Li-Ion projects
- Contribute to product/production process improvements through APQP quality chain
- Attend SDT, red flag and steering committee meetings and project reviews
- Support internal/external audits and on-time product launch readiness
- Analyze data to drive continuous improvements in supplier products
- Ensure safe build processes according to RASIC in projects
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Engineering
- 2–3 years automotive quality experience
- Knowledge of APQP, AIAG/VDA standards
- Experience with FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF systems
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE is a plus
