Overview

You will shape and execute labor relations strategy for the EMEA region, advising HR and management, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. You’ll work with works councils and unions across Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, France, and Turkey, translating EU directives into practical guidance. You’ll drive improvements in contract administration and collaborate closely with internal legal and ethics teams. This role offers impact across a global, sustainability-driven organization and exposure to cross-border labor relations at scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • develop and implement EMEA labor relations strategies with local management and HR
  • advise on compliance with collective bargaining agreements and CBA interpretation
  • draft and review company agreements, CBAs, and employment contracts
  • lead and participate in negotiations with works councils, unions, and employee representatives
  • research EU Labor Law directives and assess impact on the company
  • translate EU labor developments into policies, templates, and training with legal
  • drive process improvements for company agreements in alignment with HR Directors and legal
  • collaborate with internal legal, GC, Global Labor & Employment, and EMEA legal teams
  • investigate concerns raised via Corporate Integrity Helpline per EU Whistleblower Directive
  • develop and deliver coaching and training to improve contract administration and labor-management relations
  • support onboarding and knowledge sharing through training resources and programs

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (HR, labor relations, business administration)
  • LL.M. with specialization in labor/employment law highly preferred
  • proven track record in labor relations with works councils and unions (international experience a plus)
  • experience teaching, training, mentoring business partners on labor relations topics
  • strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to present to leadership and works councils
  • digital savviness, familiarity with AI
  • data analysis and consolidation skills
  • fluency in English and German; additional languages advantageous
