Electrical Engineer – High Voltage
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer – High Voltage to join our engineering team in Switzerland. This is a technical role focused on the design, analysis, and implementation of High Voltage electrical systems for industrial and infrastructure projects. The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on engineering work rather than purely project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical studies and design for HV/MV systems.
- Develop technical specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Support equipment selection, procurement, and technical evaluations.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site activities, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Provide technical support throughout the different phases of a project.
Profile
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in High Voltage and/or Medium Voltage engineering.
- Good knowledge of electrical networks, substations, protection systems, and power distribution.
- Experience with electrical calculation software (e.g. ETAP, Caneco, DIgSILENT) and AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and willingness to work in an international environment.
