Project Context:
For one of our clients in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Knowledge Management & AI Consultant to support the design of an enterprise knowledge management strategy within an R&D environment.
The objective is to structure and make internal knowledge accessible and exploitable by AI solutions, leveraging information currently spread across various sources (SharePoint, emails, presentations, PDFs, etc.).
The mission primarily focuses on strategy, architecture and solution design , rather than hands-on development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define a Knowledge Management strategy aligned with business needs and future AI use cases.
- Design the target Knowledge Architecture, including Knowledge Graphs, metadata management, information classification and segmentation.
- Define Knowledge Ingestion approaches for collecting and integrating unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Establish Data Governance principles covering data quality, confidentiality, access rights and information lifecycle.
- Design processes for knowledge organization, maintenance and continuous updates.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT and Data/AI teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies & Semantic Technologies
- Knowledge Ingestion & Unstructured Data
- Metadata Management & Data Governance
- Understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and GenAI applications
- Functional and Technical Architecture, Process Design
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in Knowledge Management, Information Architecture or Data Architecture.
- Experience designing enterprise knowledge management solutions and structuring unstructured information.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable architectures and processes.
- Good understanding of how enterprise knowledge can be structured and leveraged by AI solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with GenAI, RAG or semantic technologies would be a strong advantage.
