ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the data function at an early-stage legal and finance technology company, working closely with the CTO to build its data foundation. You will make large document and case repositories from diverse sources reliable and usable for AI workflows, analysis, and dashboards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and operate scalable data pipelines for large document and case repositories.
- Integrate and model data from diverse sources and formats, including APIs and legacy systems.
- Prepare data for AI workflows, analysis, and dashboards.
- Maintain data quality, performance, and operational reliability across production platforms.
- Set up and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Help shape the data architecture and make pragmatic infrastructure decisions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience building data pipelines and data models with SQL, Python, and ETL approaches.
- Strong proficiency with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and operating production data platforms.
- Hands-on experience connecting APIs and integrating legacy systems for data exchange.
- Experience preparing data for AI workflows, analysis, and dashboards, and contributing to data architecture.
- A pragmatic, independent approach and interest in complex legal and finance technology domains.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is up to €75,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
