Overview
In this role you design, build, and operate AI-powered features within the ClickHouse Cloud platform, aligning with the AI/ML Engineering team's mission. You will shape API architectures and integrations that connect ClickHouse with AI services, while ensuring production-grade delivery and observability. You collaborate across disciplines to deliver end-to-end AI capabilities, from backend inference to user-facing interfaces. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence how data scientists and agents use ClickHouse at scale, in a remote-friendly, global team.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design and implement AI-powered features across backend and frontend within the ClickHouse Cloud platform
- Create robust, scalable APIs linking ClickHouse capabilities with AI/ML inference systems and services
- Integrate with the broader AI/ML ecosystem and standards for compatibility with popular frameworks and tools
- Integrate models into production with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation
- Participate in daytime oncall rotations
- Develop developer tools, SDKs, and documentation to enable usage of AI/ML capabilities
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies
- Backend development experience in TypeScript or Python focused on API design and service architecture
- High ownership to drive features from concept to production with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
