Overview
In this role you own the development of sorbent modules from TRL3 to TRL6, balancing performance, manufacturability, and scalability. You lead lifecycle management from TRL6 through launch and end-of-life, ensuring successful deployment and long-term reliability. You coordinate validation and industrialization across engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams while collaborating with internal and external partners. You prototype, test, and continuously improve modules to advance sustainable technologies with cross-functional teams.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own sorbent module development from TRL3 to TRL6, optimizing trade-offs across requirements, performance, manufacturability, and scalability
- Lead lifecycle management from TRL6 through product launch, service, and end-of-life
- Coordinate validation, serial production readiness, and all engineering/manufacturing activities for industrialization
- Collaborate with internal technology, development, and operations teams and with external suppliers/partners
- Support prototype fabrication and testing to validate concepts and refine performance
- Drive continuous improvement of sorbent modules across lifecycle to enhance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of industrial experience in product development, mechanical design, or design engineering
- Hands-on experience with material selection, DfMA, DfM, and DfE
- Basic understanding of chemical processes and energy/productivity trade-offs
- Proven project leadership from concept to implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for sustainable technologies
- Effective cross-functional communicator with mentoring ability and experience with IP-sensitive collaborations
- English fluency and willingness to travel up to 10%, available 80–100%
