Role Overview

The Senior Advanced Quality Project Pilot will support new business and project development by analyzing customer requirements, assessing risks, and defining quality commitments during the quotation and early project phases. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and direct interaction with premium automotive customers.

This position requires strong expertise in automotive quality standards, risk analysis, and quality planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and negotiate customer quality specifications with Advanced Project teams.
• Assess product and process risks and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Define quality commitments, feasibility analyses, and preventive action plans.
• Develop validation plans, control plans, measurement lists, and traceability requirements.
• Support preparation of quotations with quality-related inputs (costs, deliverables, timing).
• Coordinate with Laboratory and Metrology teams to validate technical feasibility.
• Maintain and update internal quality databases, standards, and cost benchmarks.
• Capture lessons learned from previous programs to enhance future risk prevention.
• Manage customer portals and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Train and support internal quality teams on customer standards and updates.

Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering or Master’s degree, ideally in plastics, quality, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive quality.
• Strong experience with premium German OEMs (BMW, VW Group, or Tier 1 suppliers).
• Strong problem-solving expertise.
• Solid understanding of metrology, automotive lab tests, and VDA 6.3 audit processes.
• Fluent in English (C1) and German (C1 – mandatory).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
