The advertised position primarily centres around assessing a wide range of IT security products. Their test centre conducts evaluations on both the physical and logical security aspects of various products, including but not limited to ID cards, payment terminals, secure workstations, firewalls, VPN gateways, hardware security modules, smartphone apps, and more. These evaluations adhere to national and international security standards such as Common Criteria and PCI PTS. The outcomes of these tests are documented in comprehensive test reports.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Evaluation of projects
- Assessment of products in coordination with the manufacturer and the certification body e.g. BSI
- Identify vulnerabilities
- Report writing
Essential:
- Passion for IT Security
- Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or any other relevant degree
- Precise report writing skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a comparable position or expertise in one or more topics such as: cryptography, vulnerability analysis, network technology and/or operating systems
- C1 level German with fluency in English
