I am hiring an IT Security Consultant on behalf of a Cyber Security company specializing in IT security and data protection solutions. The company provides consulting, auditing, and implementation services to help businesses secure sensitive information and comply with regulations like GDPR. Their offerings include cybersecurity risk assessments, data encryption, penetration testing, and security training. With a focus on comprehensive data protection, they support organizations in safeguarding their digital assets against cyber threats and ensuring regulatory compliance.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Further development of the customers IT security infrastructure
- Conducting security awareness
- Consult customers on defensive security issues
- Conduct audits for customers according to the company’s framework based on ISO 27001
This role is remote in Germany with occasional travel to client site.
Essential:
- Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security
- ~3 years professional experience in cyber security
- Strong knowledge of network security, defensive security and endpoint security concepts
- Knowledge of ISO 27001
- Personable
- C1 German and fluent English
