SolidFlow batteries store energy in organic molecules . The absence of explosive materials makes them safe, the use of socially and ecologically conflict-free raw materials makes them sustainable and the almost unlimited availability of materials makes them scalable and cheap to procure . This makes our patented SolidFlow technology a game changer in the development of a global climate -neutral energy system .

From start-up to scale-up : we\\\’re tackling it together

CMBlu Energy is developing from a start-up focussing on research into a manufacturing scale-up that is on its way to series production . Around 240 employees are working towards this goal at CMBlu Energy. Our head office is in Alzenau near Frankfurt, with a branch office in Obernburg. There are also subsidiaries in Athens, Greece and Petaluma, USA.

• Organization of the daily laboratory routine incl. technical management and contact person for the chemical laboratory technicians and technical employees
• Planning and documentation of syntheses (results tables, etc.)
• Literature research on existing and potentially interesting molecules in energy storage
• Checking the documentation of laboratory staff
• Basic knowledge in the field of battery storage materials
• Reporting research results to superiors (project status reports)
• Training of safety-relevant documents for laboratory staff

Job requirements

• Successfully completed studies in chemistry with a focus on inorganic chemistry or a comparable education, with a doctorate
• Very good knowledge in the field of solid-phase synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials
• Professional experience in the field of battery technology
• Clean, structured and careful way of working
• High degree of independence and reliability
• Practical approach to complex problems.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• High safety awareness a) in handling large quantities of hazardous substances b) in handling technical facilities and equipment
