This position is a fixed-term contract for two years .

As a Marketing Specialist , you will take ownership of key marketing initiatives with a focus on conversion, quality, and strategic value . You will work closely with the Marketing Manager for German and Austria , contribute your own ideas, and manage projects from concept to execution.
You are hands-on, self-driven, and understand the requirements of a highly regulated, complex financial product – including the necessary compliance processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Independent planning and execution of complex multi-channel campaigns (e.g. email flows, reactivation, awareness campaigns)
- Strategic project support and sparring for initiatives
- Content creation and adaptation for eCRM, websites, social media, and campaigns (in German)
- Technical implementation in relevant tools (e.g. Braze, Contentful, Canva)
- Alignment with the central marketing team in London and close collaboration with eCRM resources
- Ensuring all approval and compliance processes are met
- Creation of performance reports and identification of optimization opportunities
- Contribution to EU-wide marketing initiatives with a German market focus
Key experience:
- At least 4 years of professional experience in marketing, ideally in a regulated industry (finance, insurance, tech)
- Very strong German language skills (minimum C1+) and excellent English proficiency
- University degree in marketing, communications, business, or a comparable qualification
- Proven experience in the planning and implementation of complex marketing campaigns
- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely
- Confident use of common marketing tools (Braze, CMS, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience working with cross-functional, international teams
- High level of ownership, organisational talent, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to dive into complex regulatory topics and requirements
