We’re looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) to join our Finance team in Berlin. In this role you will support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial processes. You’ll work closely with experienced team members in an international, fast-paced environment and gain exposure across a broad range of accounting activities.
Responsibilities
- Managing financial records
- Bookkeeping
- Financial reporting
- Compliance with German GAAP and tax regulations
- Invoice approval
- Accruals
- Fixed assets
- Bank reconciliations
- Payments and balance sheet reconciliation
- Income statement reconciliation
- VAT and tax report preparation
- Supporting financial statements and audits
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting
- Fluency in German and good English
- Academic degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience with bookkeeping
- Experience with ERP tools such as NetSuite
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Teamwork in multicultural environments
- Knowledge of German local GAAP and taxation is an advantage
