ppThe Group Tax Analyst supports Group wide tax reporting, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. The role plays a critical part in the preparation, review, and consolidation of current and deferred tax positions and tax disclosures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Group accounting policies and local tax regulations. Working closely with Group Finance, local markets, auditors, and external advisers, the role contributes directly to the integrity of Group financial reporting, Effective Tax Rate (ETR) forecasting, and tax governance /ph3IN THIS EXCITING ROLE YOU WILL: /h3ulliCoordinate interim and year end Group tax reporting in collaboration with Finance teams, auditors, and external advisers. /liliBuild strong working relationships with finance and business stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of Group tax reporting cycles. /liliAct as a key representative of Group Tax for reporting matters and lead business partnering with the Group Financial Reporting team. /liliSupport ETR forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis versus prior periods and plan. /liliReview and support the preparation of statutory tax disclosures and notes to the financial statements. /li /ulh3Governance, Controls Documentation /h3ulliSupport the design and operation of tax accounting controls under internal control frameworks. /liliAssist with documentation for internal and external audits, including:ulliDeferred tax support schedules. /liliUncertain tax position (UTP) analyses. /li /ul /liliContribute to Tax Control Framework (TCF) documentation and testing. /liliSupport regional implementation of new tax accounting or reporting requirements (e.g. Pillar Two). /liliLead technical tax accounting for Group Reporting; maintain IAS 12 knowledge. /li /ulh3Tax Risk, Audits Provisions /h3ulliTrack regional tax audits, disputes, and exposures. /liliAssist with assessment and documentation of tax risks and provisions. /liliSupport preparation of UTP analyses and coordination with Group Tax. /liliEnsure audit outcomes are reflected appropriately in tax reporting and provisions. /li /ulh3Regional Coordination Governance /h3ulliAct as the regional point of contact between local markets and Group Tax. /liliEnsure consistent application of group tax policies, tax control framework, and internal guidelines. /liliOversight of the Group’s tax compliance programme including a review of all jurisdictional filings. /li /ulh3Data, Systems Process Improvement /h3ulliSupport improvements in tax reporting processes, including standardisation and automation and data quality enhancements. /liliWork with Finance and IT on ERP and reporting tools (e.g. SAP) and adoption of tax technology tools. /liliPrepare tax reporting packs, dashboards, and management presentations. /li /ulh3Ad-hoc /h3ulliSupport Head of Tax with tax projects as they arise. Support other members of the Group tax team with ad hoc queries, projects and transactions as required. /li /ulh3YOU CAN BE SUCCESFULL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE: /h3ulliQualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent tax qualification (CTA or equivalent). /lili6+ years of relevant tax experience; experience in a big 4 audit/tax advisory firm and/or a tax function of a multinational group. /liliFluent in English (both written and oral). /liliStrong interpersonal and communication skills, effective partnering with non tax professionals across a cross functional organisation to proactively anticipate business needs and provide practical tax support to the business. /li /ulh3Desired Criteria /h3ulliStrong knowledge of tax accounting and reporting standards (IAS 12). /liliSolid understanding of corporate income tax and deferred taxation mechanics. /liliExperience with tax provision tools or Excel-based provision models. /liliComfortable analysing ETR drivers and explaining variances to senior stakeholders. /liliPrevious experience of working within an ERP / SAP. /li /ulpAt Coca-Cola HBC, we are an inclusive employer that thrives on diversity.
