Who we are.
Hüwels Betonelementewerk GmbH has been a specialist in precast concrete elements for industrial, commercial and residential construction since 1961 and has been part of the cocon group of companies since 2024.
In Oberhausen, we manufacture high-quality precast concrete elements and exposed concrete components – from functional to architecturally sophisticated.
We are currently developing the site step by step. New machines and equipment, including modern tilting tables and sawing technology, have already been integrated. Further investments will follow in the coming months and years – including a new production hall and a new office building.
What to expect.
We are looking for a plant manager (m/f/d) who will work with us to shape the future of the site.
Our current plant manager, after more than 30 years with the company, will unfortunately have to gradually retire in the coming years. Therefore, we would like to plan for his succession early and in a structured manner – with sufficient time for collaboration, knowledge transfer, and a smooth transition.
It is important to us to fill this key position sustainably – in the interest of the company, but also in the interest of the future plant manager. You will be responsible for production, employees, quality and organization – and will work with us to further develop the plant.
- Operational management of finished part production in close coordination with the production manager
- Control and monitoring of ongoing order processing and production processes
- Management and development of employees at the plant
- Responsibility for occupational safety, quality and deadlines
- Further development of processes, procedures and plant organization
- Participation in investments and technical modernization
- Close collaboration with management, design and assembly
What you should bring.
- A degree in civil engineering or comparable technical training. Alternatively: Technician or master craftsman with extensive experience in precast concrete production.
- Experience in a management position within a production or precast concrete plant
- Ideally, a concrete technology qualification (e.g., E-certificate)
- Knowledge of precast concrete elements, shop drawings, formwork technology and production processes
- Economic thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
- A clear, pragmatic leader with a focus on people and processes.
- Interest in taking on long‑term responsibility and further developing structures.
- A genuine passion for concrete, production, and technical processes
