Software Engineer in Test (w / m / d)

This role is in the Product and Platforms organization, responsible for creating the most sophisticated industrial barcode readers, machine vision and smart cameras in the world. We combine custom hardware, specialized lighting and optics, and world class vision algorithms to create embedded systems for reading barcodes. Using these systems, we can find and read high-density symbols on package labels or marked directly on a variety of industrial parts, including aircraft engines, electronics substrates, and pharmaceuticals test equipment. Our devices need to read hundreds of codes per minute, so the team needs to optimize both hardware and software to create best in class technology.

• Engineering degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in the areas of developing C, C++ & Python software required.
• Work experience in the areas of automated white box testing desired.
• High energy and motivated learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good presentation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Verbal and written fluency in English required.

What you will do :

• Writing white box tests in Python to exercise all aspects of the embedded systems.
• Enhance existing C, C++ & Python source code and test framework.
• Debug and fix existing C, C++ & Python source code.
• Create test specifications or review requirement specs with regards to completeness and testability.
• Maintain, analyze, and communicate results of test robots.
• Occasional travel to the USA or Hungary.
