Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Payments) You will design, develop, and operate mission‑critical payment and transaction services as part of a modern e‑banking platform, ensuring correct, secure, and highly available payment processing. Responsibilities Develop and enhance backend services for payment and transaction processing Implement and integrate payment standards and interfaces Ensure stability, performance, traceability, and security Implement business logic: validations, bookings, and status processing Collaborate with frontend, BFF, core banking, and security teams Code reviews and compliance with quality and security guidelines Participate in agile development processes (Scrum / Kanban) Requirements 5+ years of backend development experience Solid expertise in transaction‑oriented systems Experience with payment/banking services (transfers, clearing, etc.) Strong skills in API design and backend architectures Experience with data persistence and transaction management Knowledge of security‑critical and regulated systems German‑speaking Solid banking domain experience (required) What We Offer We believe in creating an environment where you can thrive professionally and personally.
