Head of Procurement Excellence

A fantastic opportunity with a key client in the Industrial Manufacturing space.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end S2P (Source-to-Pay) workstream, including the successful implementation and definition of processes, process transformations, change management, and technology initiatives.
• Select and implement suitable IT systems to increase efficiency and automation.
• Lead multiple projects within the S2P workstream.
• Optimize procurement processes through modern eProcurement solutions.
• Integrate and implement target processes at new or acquired locations.
• Support, develop, and monitor key performance indicators and process performance metrics related to business process changes.
• Analyze, implement, execute, and monitor procurement processes continuously.
• Develop the global purchasing organization focusing on procurement/corporate strategy and establishing common global goals related to processes, systems, and projects in the S2P area.
• Collaborate with purchasing management and operations teams to develop and implement S2P initiatives, reduce transaction costs, and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in process management, SCM/Procurement Excellence, Business Process Lead S2P, or similar roles in an international matrix environment, including designing and implementing source-to-pay processes, systems, and workflows.
• Extensive knowledge of S2P technologies and tools such as eSourcing, eProcurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management systems, preferably iVALUA.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end S2P processes, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and payment processes in a rapidly growing environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions, focusing on global alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously in a global matrix organization.
