Responsibilities:
- Implementation of regional or global Key Account Managers on the distributor side
- Creation, coordination, and implementation of global and regional procurement strategies in close cooperation with procurement teams in the divisions
- Functional management of the cross-divisional procurement team
- Development and implementation of a value-creation portfolio to ensure cost- and quality-optimized supply to the production sites
- Carrying out regional and global tenders, taking into account site-specific business requirements with the target of achieving best-cost results
- Ongoing evaluation and optimization of the distributor portfolio
- Commercial responsibility regarding strategic distributors at global and regional levels
- Business partnering within the divisions to capture divisional expectations and reflect them in procurement decisions
Qualifications:
- Completed training in warehouse logistics, Chemistry or comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics sector in the food retail or Chemical industry
- Leadership experience as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in the successful management of technological change processes and in the introduction of new technologies
- Very good IT knowledge (warehouse management systems, MS Office, excellent Excel skills)
- Organisational talent, assertiveness and a high degree of initiative
