Responsibilities:
- Screening and development of new suppliers
- Monitoring of the supplier qualification process
- Management of inquiry activities and procurement deadlines
- Preparation, negotiation and administration of contracts and international procurement of components and services in compliance with corporate interest guidelines and legal requirements
- Organisation and control of project-relevant transport, logistics and customs issues
- Preparation of price comparison lists and award proposals
- Review and approval of subcontractor invoices
- Contribution to project reviews
Qualifications:
- Completed engineering studies, electrical engineering or electronics advantageous
- Several years of professional experience in project purchasing, ideally in plant construction
- Good knowledge of EPC/M projects
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Advanced PC skills especially MS Office and SAP
- Ability to identify and solve problems on your own responsibility
- Team and communication skills, ability to work under pressure
