Responsibilities

• Procurement of machines / equipment for our European factories
• Responsible implementation of the tender process including awarding of contracts and monitoring
• Close collaboration and coordination with internal stakeholders
• Active participation in our global category strategy and independent implementation of the defined measures
• Procurement market studies as well as systematic pre-selection and qualification of new suppliers
• Supplier development and visits in Europe and overseas

Qualifications

• Master\\\’s/Bachelor\\\’s degree in business administration, economics or similar field
• Three to five years of relevant experience as a (technical) buyer in an industrial company
• Technical understanding in the area of joining and metal forming
• Strong team player
• Structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Willingness to travel
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
