Transportation Manager (W/M/D)

We are supporting a rapidly growing player in the Aerospace industry as they ramp-up their supply chain capabilities in their search for an experienced Transport Manager to join their team and help the business take advantage of their recent growth to reach the next level. In this role you will be an essential part of the logistics team ensuring efficient and timely delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and optimize transport routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor and manage transportation budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Negotiate with and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers.
• Implement, analyse and report on transportation performance KPIs, as well implementing improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transport regulations.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role within logistics or transportation.
• Proficient in relevant transportation management software.
• Business fluency in both German and English is required.
• A demonstrable track record of leading high-performing teams.
