As the Head of Deployment, you will lead the implementation of our pilot project, from securing necessary permits to ensuring operational readiness. Your responsibilities include overseeing the engineering team, aligning diverse stakeholders, and delivering all components on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role calls for a strategic yet hands-on leader who can adeptly navigate complex challenges to drive successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end-to-end deployment of our pilot project, ensuring seamless execution of all components. Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to achieve project objectives.
- Permits and Compliance: Supervise the permitting process, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. Develop and execute operational strategies to support project rollout and post-deployment operations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary coordination hub for the engineering team and all other stakeholders involved in the pilot project. Facilitate clear communication and effective collaboration across internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team, addressing technical challenges, defining roles, and ensuring accountability. Foster professional growth within the team while building a motivated and high-performing unit capable of meeting deployment goals.
Your Profile
Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex engineering or infrastructure projects, preferably in hydrogen, desalination, or multidisciplinary pilot projects involving mechanical, electrical, process, civil, and other engineering fields.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders in high-pressure environments to achieve ambitious outcomes.
- Experience with permitting and regulatory processes is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in project management and organization.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Solid technical knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and manage teams effectively.
