Warehouse Manager (W/M/D)

We are supporting a leading plastics manufacturer in their search for a highly organised and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of the production site. You will be responsible for managing inbound deliveries, inventory, storage and distribution as well as leading and developing a dynamic team. This position requires a strong leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of warehouse operations to implement best practices and increase efficiency across the entire site.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Warehouse Operations – Ensure efficient operations of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of goods.
2. Inventory Management – Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring proper stock control implement necessary inventory tracking systems and best practices to increase accuracy and efficiency.
3. Logistics Coordination – Monitor and improve order fulfilment processes to meet customer satisfaction as well as optimising transportation and distribution methods to minimise costs.
4. Team Leadership – Lead and develop your team through ongoing development plans and regular performance reviews.

Key skills:

1. Demonstrable experience leading a high-performing team
2. Extensive experience with relevant ERP systems
3. Strong understanding of industry best practices
4. Previous experience leading a warehouse layout optimisation project is advantageous
5. Business fluency in both English and German is Essential
