What You'll Do As a High-Speed Photonic Technology Engineer, you will: Drive innovation and contribute to the development of future high-speed communication solutions. Design, simulate, characterize, and optimize advanced photonic devices and semiconductor lasers. Lead or contribute to R&D projects from early technology development through production transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges related to products and manufacturing processes. Required Qualifications What We're Looking For PhD in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or Master's degree combined with at least 3 years of relevant industrial or research experience. Strong expertise in RF design and simulations, high-speed data transmission, and photonic technologies. Hands-on experience characterizing high-speed photonic devices and semiconductor lasers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the German language. Experience working in multidisciplinary R&D environments. Experience taking new technologies from concept to manufacturing.
