Head of Accounting (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced accounting leader to take responsibility for an 8-person accounting team in an international environment.
Your profile:
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting / Finance / Audit
- 5+ years of leadership experience, managing teams of 3+
- Strong knowledge of HGB & IFRS
- Experience with monthly, quarterly & annual closing
- Strong hands‑on SAP FI/CO experience (SAP R/3; S/4HANA transition)
- Experience in an international group or Big Four environment is a plus
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and develop an 8-person Accounting team
- Oversee AP, AR, fixed assets and General Ledger
- Responsibility for HGB monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Support HGB/IFRS reporting and consolidated financial statements
- Act as key contact for auditors and internal stakeholders
- Further develop SAP-based accounting processes, controls and digitalization
