Why We Need This Role

As Colt integrates the Lumen EMEA Business, this role is crucial to ensuring a smooth and legally compliant transition. Your expertise in individual and collective labor law will help navigate organizational changes and ensure all actions align with legal regulations. Additionally, you will lead negotiations with works councils, fostering positive relationships and cooperation.

What You\’ll Do

• Independently and proactively provide legal advice and support to (international) leaders and German employees on personnel-related matters.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders from the business area and global HR teams to design and locally implement strategic initiatives.
• Manage complex employee relations issues or change management initiatives.
• Advise, communicate, and train (international) leaders on HR operational processes.
• Legally review labor law documents, including employment contracts and certificates of employment.

What We\’re Looking For

• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
• Degree in law, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional experience in the employee relations area.
• Excellent knowledge of working with German works councils.
• Comprehensive up-to-date knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Enjoyment of working in an international team.
• Strong customer and service orientation.
• Reliability, resilience, and approachability.
• Quick comprehension and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills.
