Coltech has secured a major cloud transformation programme with a fast-growing FinTech, and we are looking for an experience Senior DevOps Engineer to join the project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-impact engineering environment, helping to build, automate and operate the cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical financial products used across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure.
- Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments across development and production.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform.
- Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
- Monitor and improve the reliability, performance and availability of cloud environments.
- Support cloud security initiatives, including IAM, networking and access controls.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues across production environments.
Experience
- Strong commercial experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with GCP.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, ideally GKE.
- Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Docker and containerisation.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM and security.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting production cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of automation, deployment and infrastructure management.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
