We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead large-scale digital transformation and cloud modernisation initiatives across a complex technology landscape. This role will be responsible for driving strategic programmes that deliver measurable business outcomes, overseeing multiple workstreams spanning cloud, software engineering, data, infrastructure, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders, technology leaders, and delivery teams to define programme strategy, ensure execution excellence, and build high-performing organisations capable of scaling digital products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital and cloud transformation programmes.
- Define programme strategy, governance structures, roadmaps, and success metrics.
- Manage multiple cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, cloud, data, security, and product functions.
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to align technology investments with organisational objectives.
- Oversee programme budgets, resource planning, vendor management, and risk governance.
- Drive cloud adoption, platform modernisation, and technology enablement initiatives.
- Establish effective delivery frameworks, improving predictability, quality, and transparency across programmes.
- Build and mentor leadership teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure programmes meet regulatory, security, and operational requirements.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Required Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital, cloud, or enterprise technology transformation programmes.
- Significant experience managing complex portfolios with multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience overseeing software engineering, platform, infrastructure, and data-driven initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level executives.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent programme governance, financial management, and risk mitigation capabilities.
Preferred Background
- Previous experience in fintech, financial services, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital-first organisations.
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and modern product delivery methodologies.
- Experience with cloud migration, platform engineering, enterprise architecture, or large-scale modernisation programmes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
