Location: Mobile role. You must be within a reasonable commute of Hannover.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: EUR 44,800 - 54,367 gross annually, depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full time, 39 hours per week, Mo-Fr

In this role you are expected to:

• Technical leadership and support of gardening staff of the region
• Planning, organisation and execution of all gardening work
• Supervision of work and maintenance assignments
• Maintenance and development of high-quality green spaces, woody plants and perennial plantings
• Responsibility for work quality, occupational safety and environmental protection
• Planning and implementation of woody plant maintenance and planting measures
• Support with projects relating to biodiversity, climate adaptation and sustainable site development
• Potential future involvement in developing and supporting apprentices
• Be responsible for the safe use and maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain a good balance between administrative activities and manual labour as a gardener.

You will be able to demonstrate

• Successfully completed master craftsman or technician qualification in one of the gardening disciplines, or a bachelor’s degree in the green sector
• Professional experience is a plus, but not a must
• Sound knowledge of plant use, woody plant maintenance, lawn management and green space maintenance
• Organisational skills and an independent way of working
• Instructor qualification (AEVO) desirable or willingness to obtain it in the near future
• Class B driving licence, ideally BE
• Good written and spoken German skills
• English skills desirable
• Knowledge of computer programs, such as MS Office, or the willingness to learn them.
