POPULATION OFFICE CLERK

Mission
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the post holder ensures the population control services in accordance with the legal framework and the objectives set by the Municipality, while guaranteeing competent and efficient service to our citizens.
Main tasks
- Record and document changes (arrivals, departures, etc.) - Maintain the dog register - Issue identity cards, update and renew residence permits (foreigners' police) and the civic register - Collect fees and manage the cash register - Handle telephone calls and reception at the counter during opening hours - Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence - Scan and index files in the electronic document management software - Inform and advise the public as well as internal and external partners - Check invoices related to the activities of the Population Office
Desired profile
- Holder of a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification - Holder of a specialist certificate in population office or commitment to start the training - Solid experience in the field of population office and its legal framework - Excellent command of written and spoken French; other languages are an asset - Welcoming manner, diplomacy, ease of contact with the public and availability - Knowledge of specialised software (Innosolv, GeStar, etc.) is an asset - Rigour, discretion, respect for confidentiality and sense of responsibility - Ability to work in a team and independently
