To complete its teams, the Municipality is looking for a Corporal at 100% - Class 13Your mission- Enforce all federal, cantonal, and municipal laws and regulations within the limits of their jurisdiction regarding tranquility, security, road safety, and public health.- Monitor and report offenses according to the directives of the Attorney General.- Ensure the smooth running of demonstrations and events on public roads in terms of order, traffic, and security.- According to service needs, ensure on-call presence.- Direct and supervise a team composed of municipal police officers and assistants.- Develop measures aimed at improving soft mobility.- Ensure control of the public domain.- Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and instructions from authorities.- Ensure respect for public order on public roads.- Organize patrols in connection with the police to identify problems and carry out actions using preventive, dissuasive, and/or repressive measures.Your profile- You hold a Municipal Police Officer certificate or an equivalent qualification.- You have worked in one or more areas of law enforcement on Swiss territory for at least 5 years.- You can justify several years of professional experience as an appointed officer or corporal with a level of responsibility similar to the proposed position.- You have excellent writing skills and mastery of standard computer tools.- You have a good knowledge of Genevan political institutions.- You have an analytical mind, a good sense of organization, and a good capacity for adaptation.- You possess an excellent sense of service and know how to demonstrate diplomacy and composure.- You are moderate and capable of taking a step back.Start date: to be agreed uponAre you ready to take on this new challenge with talent and commitment?
